We will celebrate the summer solstice by drumming together live with the Bay Area Bellydance Meetup in the Milpitas Community Room.
So, we're going to celebrate summer AND....
AND....
play live for the bellydancers who are coming. We're doing a joint meetup Drummers and Dancers. They will practice dancing to live music and we will practice drumming to live dancers. I'm really excited.
The address is above. Upon arrival, you enter the front door and the Meeting Room is on your right after you enter the glass doors. But BEFORE the second set of glass doors.
So, again, it's a potluck. Please bring a dish. I'll bring cameras and paper goods.

“ this meetup was awesome. we had alot of people show up and alot of bystanders. the rhythm took on a mind of it's own and we had a great time. the energy was real high. good food. good people. just overall awesome. we also had some bellydancers dancing as we drummed. it was awesome!!!!!!!! ” -

The idea of them dancing with us / us drumming for them was a great idea. Everybody wins. Got culture? There were a large number of realy good drummers there. I was not one of them... but was not discouraged, and still had a blast. Good attitude by the group. Lots of fun! ” -
