NYC Drum Circle / Music Circle Meetup Group
|
We are offering percussion and music workshops for all levels, the aim being to provide an introduction to the percussion techniques and rhythmical systems of Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern music. These are informal and friendly sessions and we hope that in addition to learning about percussion, attendees will gain a more general insight into the music and culture that interests us. We are also experimenting with poetry reading and story telling using different musical instruments.
