Welcome, Pittsburgh Hand Drummers!

We are hand drummers/percussionists/enthusiastic human beings who share an interest and love of drumming with the joy of community. We get together and create wondrous journeys in time through the conduit of rythym and cooperation of the group. In simple terms?we enjoy drumming and hanging out having fun!

We are not a "facilitated" group, and not a "workshop"?but we welcome all levels of player. Whether you are a rank beginner or a seasoned pro, you will absolutely have fun and progress on your instrument at the same time. We always have extra "stuff" on hand, so even if you don't have your own instrument, please feel free to join right in. You'll be surprised at how easy and fun it is to add your 'voice' to the mix.

We are a very open minded and welcoming group who love to get together and have a good time with percussion. Everything else just falls into place on it's own.
